At Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School Terrigal, Kindergarten is where the foundations for learning, confidence and connection begin.
From the moment our students arrive, the day is filled with purposeful learning, routine and care. Mornings begin with a calm and welcoming start, helping students feel settled and ready to learn. Through a balance of explicit teaching and hands-on activities, our Kindergarten students build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy while developing independence and confidence.
In KS, learning is active, engaging and supported every step of the way. Students work together, explore new ideas and are encouraged to take risks in a safe and nurturing environment. Just as important are the friendships they build and the sense of belonging they feel as part of our school community.
Our days also include opportunities for play, creativity and outdoor time, supporting the wellbeing of each child and helping them thrive both socially and emotionally.
