At OLSOS although student learning is the ‘end game’, we recognise that learning is crucial for all of us – staff, students and parents. Our staff are of themselves, a vibrant learning community where there are many gifts and talents we share and learn from. Importantly we also understand the crucial role students themselves have in our own professional learning. After all it is the students who we are trying to reach…it stands to reason that we should also listen to them.
As learners, our staff have defined ourselves in terms of what we believe, value and importantly commit to.

Our parents are also vitally important, we know that to engage parents as partners in student learning, they must also be engaged as learners. Our commitment to this is ongoing and through a variety of opportunities and media.
