Farewell Class of 2025: A Beautiful End of Year Mass and Guard of Honour at OLSS
On Monday, the Our Lady Star of the Sea (OLSS) community came together to farewell our Class of 2025 with a beautiful End of Year Mass, sharing a meaningful celebration of faith, gratitude and growth.
A Faith Filled Celebration to Mark the End of Primary School
Our End of Year Mass was a special moment for students, staff and families to reflect on the journey of our Year 6 students and give thanks for the memories, learning and friendships formed throughout their time at OLSS. As a Catholic primary school in Terrigal, we are proud of the strong faith foundation and sense of belonging that helps our students thrive.
An Emotional Whole School Guard of Honour
Following the Mass, our students participated in a whole school Guard of Honour. It was an emotional and uplifting moment as our Year 6 students walked through a corridor of kindness, receiving a heartfelt blessing from our Kindergarten to Year 5 students and staff.
This powerful tradition captures what makes OLSS so special: a supportive school community where older and younger students connect, encourage one another, and celebrate milestones together.
Carrying Our OLSS Values Into the Next Chapter
As the Class of 2025 steps into their next chapter of learning, we know they will continue to carry the OLSS values forward, shining their light wherever they go. We are so proud of the young leaders they have become and the positive impact they have had on our school.
