Celebrating Father’s Day at OLSS
Today our school community gathered to celebrate the incredible fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who play such an important role in our lives. The morning was filled with joy as families enjoyed a sausage sizzle, a cuppa, visits to open classrooms, and a beautiful liturgy.
Year One delighted everyone with a heartfelt song, while Mr Coote offered a moving reflection on the meaning of Father’s Day. Our school choir lifted voices in praise, creating a spirit of unity and gratitude. Father Vince also reminded us of God’s mercy and forgiveness through the parable of the prodigal son, a timely and powerful message of love and compassion.
We are deeply thankful for the men in our OLSS community who guide, support, and inspire us each day.
We wish all fathers, and father figures a very blessed and joyful Father’s Day.
