Early Learning Centre

The Catholic Early Learning Centre (ELC) is a joint project between the Diocese of Broken Bay Catholic Schools Office, Our Lady Star of the Sea School and Centacare Catholic Family Services Broken Bay.

The physical facilities for this project are supported by funding through the Commonwealth Government’s “Building the Education Revolution” program (BER).

The Catholic Early Learning Centre caters for 3-5 year olds, 8.15am to 3.45pm daily. It applies best-practice early-years research to provide quality early learning experiences and a curriculum aligned to the National Early Years Learning Framework.

Staffed by fully-qualified specialist Early Childhood Teachers, the ELC provides a rich play-based learning experience in a caring environment underpinned by Catholic ethos.

The preschoolers regularly come across to our classrooms, playground and school events. Respectively our students visit the children at ELC including going to perform songs or special activities and the like.  Both education settings share a close bond.
